Let’s learn together about gardening and teaching our kids/students the importance of fruits and vegetables. This curriculum will enhance their knowledge plus the hands-on activities will inspire them to eat healthy and be more active.
Learn, Grow, Eat, and Go is a fun way to learn about the foods we eat, where the plants come from, and how we can help each other.
Objectives:
- Analyze what plants need and how they support people and animals.
- Identify all of the edible plant parts from a variety of crops.
- Use units of measure to plan the use of garden space.
- Gather data on the nutritional benefits of vegetables.
- Develop an appreciation for trying unfamiliar foods.
